Excel is the world’s premier spreadsheet software. You can use Excel to analyze numbers, keep track of data, and graphically represent your information. Excel also makes your job easier by providing an easy to use interface, and an array of powerful tools to help you turn your data into useable information – and better information leads to better decision making!

Workshop Objectives

Research has consistently demonstrated that when clear goals are associated with learning, it occurs more easily and rapidly. With that in mind, let’s review our goals for today.

• Open and create Excel workbook files
• Use the Excel interface
• Enter and edit data in a variety of ways
• Understand basic formulas and functions
• Use the Quick Analysis features
• Format worksheets and data
• Print and share workbooks
