Welcome to the Measuring Results with Training workshop, where we address the challenge of quantifying the benefits of training. While some training topics offer tangible, monetary returns like sales or time management, others, such as communication and leadership, yield more intangible advantages. In this course, participants will explore various methods for evaluating training progress and utilizing these assessments to showcase the tangible outcomes of training efforts. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a comprehensive understanding of learning styles, Kirkpatrick’s levels of evaluation, and a range of evaluation tools, including goal setting, tests, interviews, and observations. They will also learn when to apply each evaluation tool, conduct needs assessments, align learning objectives with evaluation, formulate comprehensive evaluation plans, assess training costs, benefits, and return on investment, and comprehend the components of a compelling business case for training initiatives.
