This workshop aims to provide participants with an understanding of facilitation and equip them with practical tools for facilitating small meetings. The objectives of the workshop include defining facilitation and its purpose, clarifying the role of a facilitator, distinguishing between process and content in group discussions, offering tips for choosing and preparing for facilitation, identifying a facilitator’s role in different stages of group development, exploring ways to help groups reach consensus, providing guidelines for dealing with disruptions and difficult individuals in groups, and defining interventions and how to implement them.
